Get outdoors, try something new and enjoy an action-packed adventure together at The Caldecotte Xperience, Milton Keynes.

Our Family Adventure Sessions give adults and children the chance to take part in instructor-led outdoor activities together – perfect for families looking for something a little different to do. Depending on the session, activities could include watersports, climbing, abseiling, archery, bushcraft, team challenges and outdoor games. Activities will vary according to factors such as the weather and group.

No previous experience is needed, and all specialist activity equipment is provided.

Session times
Morning: 9.00am–12.30pm
Afternoon: 1.30pm–5.00pm
Age: Children must be aged 5–16 to take part.

Price: £25 per ticket

Accessible Family Adventure Sessions

All of our Family Adventure Sessions can be adapted to support a range of SEND needs. If you have any specific requirements, please let us know when booking so we can help you get the most from your session.

We also have three wheelchair-accessible sessions, which include our specially adapted Wheelyboat alongside another activity such as archery, bushcraft or Team Dynamics:

Saturday 26 September – morning
Sunday 25 October – morning
Saturday 31 October – morning

These sessions are open to everyone – you do not need to have SEND or use a wheelchair to book.

Who can book?
Bookings must include a minimum of two participants:

At least one adult
At least one child aged 5-16

Adults take part in the activities alongside their children – this isn’t a drop-off session!

What to wear and bring
Please come dressed for outdoor activities in comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting wet or muddy.

We recommend bringing:

A full change of clothes
Swimwear and a towel
Trainers or other secure, closed-toe footwear
A change of footwear or water shoes
Waterproof clothing
A refillable water bottle
Sun cream and a sun hat when appropriate
A bag for wet clothes and shoes
